The British Library of Political and Economic Science has uploaded high-resolution photos of Charles Booth's 'Maps Descriptive of London Poverty, 1898-9', which can be freely downloaded and used in recounting the stories of your London ancestors. These maps are the product of Charles Booth's Inquiry into Life and Labour In London (1886 - 1903) and are an early example of social cartography.
