December 2024 LSEW Group Meeting

Robert Holloway gave us a presentation on his maternal family history. This included the discovery of his family's involvement in the creation of the Zig Zag brewery in Lithgow NSW.

We then held an open forum Brick Wall Session to see if, as a group, we could help trace Mal Parr’s mystery maternal grandfather. Although unable to pinpoint the exact person, we made some discoveries and were able to give Mal some interesting leads & ideas for future research.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday 15 March 2025.
