LSEW Group Meeting March 2023

Thank you to all who attended our recent March meeting. We had a good attendance which included a couple who had travelled up from Kulin for the day (approx 280km away!). 

We focused on aspects of Kent using our free County Guide (see our web page) and various other resources to help anyone who is researching there. Additionally, Peter Hamersley gave a short presentation on memories and images of Hop-Picking in Kent, titled “Daan Opping”.

To cap off a very busy schedule we also held our AGM. For the record, Peter Hamersley was returned as Convenor with Robyn O’Brien standing once again as Committee member. 

Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday 17 June 2023.
