The Australian Joint Copying Project (AJCP) holds great imageriches for family history researchers.  Now digitised and accessible on the National Archives of Australia Trove website, it is however, not the easiest to navigate.

The State Library of WA has published a guide for new and experienced researchers alike.

Check it out here.

Thank you, Anne, for posting the AJCP information. In 1836 my ancestors Robert & Caroline Thomson ('Atwick,' 19 Oct 1829), felt themselves short-changed in their early land allocation. Once I had overcome the hurdles to accessing the AJCP, I learned of Robert's submissions both to the Executive Council and then the Secretary of State for Colonies seeking to have his claim for additional land recognized. It was a thrill to download the files & read them at home. Peter Mitchell Member 14712
