Hey Julie. That's a wonderful contribution and extremely useful tips. I am doing some research work for Ireland assignments for SROWA and these tips will work very well for it. I didn't know there were so many records available about the history of these towns and their residents.

I enjoyed the review of this book enough to consider purchasing it. It's not often an item of furniture survives so long in this modern age and it's a clever way of weaving the generations together. One can't help wondering about questioning the survival ethics of his forebear when if he hadn't been 'fluid' in his loyalties, the writer may not have lived to record the story! :)
