The Family Historian User Group brings together people who use Family Historian 7, Ancestral Sources, and FTAnalyzer, as well as researchers who are exploring software options for managing their family history. Whether you are just getting started or already have an established research workflow, the group provides a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and share useful techniques.

What the group offers

Members can take part in monthly online discussions focused on practical topics, including source templates, citations, reports, diagrams, plugins, research notes, data entry with Ancestral Sources, and tree analysis with FTAnalyzer. Sessions will encourage questions, demonstrations, and shared examples so members can apply what they learn to their own research.

Who should join

The group is suitable for Family Historian users at all levels, family historians considering a move from another genealogy program, and anyone interested in improving the way they record, manage, analyse, and present their research.
