Thank you, Anne, for posting the AJCP information. In 1836 my ancestors Robert & Caroline Thomson ('Atwick,' 19 Oct 1829), felt themselves short-changed in their early land allocation. Once I had overcome the hurdles to accessing the AJCP, I learned of Robert's submissions both to the Executive Council and then the Secretary of State for Colonies seeking to have his claim for additional land recognized.
