Review and update of Dead Reckoning

Initially developed by Steve Howell, in his capacity as the State Library's WA History Specialist, Dead Reckoning remains relevant to all family history researchers endeavouring to understand and access West Australian records.

The online version of Dead Reckoning was popular with both clients and library staff, but over time, many of the links to various web resources broke. Last year saw the completion of a weblink review process whereby every single weblink within the publication was checked and, where necessary, repaired, updated or removed.

Future work on this important resource will include information on new collections as well as additional online photographs.
