Irish Interest Group (October 2022)

The last Quarterly Meeting in 2022 for the Irish Group will be our Brick-wall session at Unit 4, 48 May Street, Bayswater. 

Anyone with a Brickwall in their Irish genealogy research is welcome to join us to brain-storm ideas and techniques to breakthrough and possibly make that ellusive leap back to your ancestors birthplace in Ireland or push back another generation. This year we will try a different set-up rather than the usual breakaway group doing personal research in the FHWA Library/Computer rooms in units 5&6. We will offer realtime online searches and troubleshooting during the gathering in Unit 4. You are most welcome to bring along your Laptop or Tablet device to get more out of the session.

Please bring details of your Brick-wall so the discussion group will know just what hasnt yet been explored to help you with your research. A Brickwall questionnaire to help pull this information together is available to download below or from the SIG by email to irish.sig@fhwa.org.au.
