West Australian Interest Group Meeting - Ghost Towns in WA
Quarterly meeting of the FHWA Western Australian Special Interest Group.
Garry Keath will talk about the many ghost towns in Western Australia.
WA has over 250 ghost towns that have been abandoned over the last 200 years by the mining industry, the gold rush, railways or for other reasons.
Garry will also tell you about the exciting project FHWA will be starting in the near future, indexing the inhabitants of these lost towns.
Liana Fitzpatrick will also be talking about Day Dawn and her family’s connection with the area.
