Keen musician, Shirley Guy, had been playing a ukulele since the age of 10, when her neighbour passed hers on. Finding inspiration in 2009, when The UK Ukulele Orchestra visited Perth, Shirley purchased a new one and, since then, has increased her skills to become a ukulele teacher. She plays a variety of music, including some classical pieces. As she says, "It has grown to be about skills, singing, keeping our minds sharp and friendship, and an important part of my life."

As this is our last meeting for 2024, please bring a plate to share for lunch: WARNING - there may be Christmas Carols and singing.
