Tags: They are ideal for broad categories (e.g., Tag 1 for Direct Ancestors, Tag 2 for military veterans). You can instantly use them to filter who gets printed in reports, exported to GEDCOMs, or added to To-Do Lists.

Hashtags: allows you to easily group people with specific connections. For example, you can create a hashtag like ‘Family Reunion’ and attach it to everyone related to a specific project or event.
