The quarterly meeting for the FHWA Western Australian Interest Group.
Brian will start with the geology—what attracted prospectors to the district, where the discoveries were made, and what they were called.
Then we'll meet some of the personalities of Kunanulling: Fred Bowe, Syd Kelly, Granny Kemp, the Bounsels, the Wares, the Mutzigs, the Dwyers, the Hunters, and the Outridges.
Brian will also share a bit about his own connection with the town—from being a 9-year-old prospector in 1954 at Bonnievale and Verischetti, to several visits while living at 257 Egan Street in 1961/62, and later returning with the Dalkeith School Camp in 1989.
