A new edition features murder and mayhem in WA's own history throught to a very modern solution to the ever-present dilemma of family history researchers - what do I do with this lot?

AS usual our members are front of centre of the contributions to a fascinating and inspiring collection of articles in this edition of Western Ancestor.

John James had a great collection of genealogical research to share and with the assistance of FHWA Vice President and Treasurer a new service to members was born. Read about how we digitized this valuable collection.

A copy of the research, now called The Langley Collection, is available to members at the FHRC in our Electronic Document Depository [EDR].

Murder was not uncommon in the wild frontiers of WA, but this story of the fate of an Afghan camel dealer, derived from the police files by Ron Pimm.is rivetting.
