The Railway Museum in Bassendean is Western Australia's premier museum devoted to railway history. Various passenger carriages and freight wagons that formed an integral part of the railway scene are on display – a number of these date back to the 19th century. The exhibition building houses an extensive collection of railway artefacts and photographs telling the story of railways in Western Australia. Some former Railway Stations are now part of the FHWA Ghost Towns project.

FamilyHistoryWA will have a display on Sunday 9 August. Come along between 1pm -5pm and explore the museum and talk to FHWA members about family history.

Adults $13, Concessions $11, Children $5.00 (4 - 14 years) (Children under 4 yrs free) Family (2 A & 2 C) $32
